Running Highly Available Large Scale Systems is a lot of work. For the past 2.5 years, we've been running 100% serverless on a full production environment, serving customers worldwide. No VMs, no containers, no Kubernetes. Just code.
In this session I will present why we decided to go fully serverless at Torii, how it helped us move faster than our competitors, where did serverless computing worked best and where there's more work to be done. At the end of this session, you'll learn how to run your next side-project, production service, or even your complete startup, without losing a night's sleep.
Two Years, Zero servers: Lessons learned from running a startup 100% on Serverless
I'm the CTO and Co-Founder at Torii, a SaaS management platform built entirely on serverless infrastructure. I started programming at the age of 6 and never really stopped. Over the years, I had the chance to code on a large spectrum: kernel programming, mobile apps, and front-end web applications. I previously worked at Checkpoint and led the R&D at Bizzabo. Today I mostly enjoy building products that people use and love.
